Fe was bought as a foal from Carina Lewis in 2003. She is a tiny mealy muzzled bay standing at just 30". She is a very independent little lady and likes to do her own thing. She is affectionate and brilliant with children and dogs and is easy to look after, however she never liked the show ring - you could hear her grinding her teeth - so I ceased to take her. Fe is one of those miniatures that has the naturally slim gene and is as pretty in her winter coat as she is in her summer finery. She has a very tiny frame and is very fine boned. She has been scanned in foal to my stallion - Seahorse gold Melody Grand Buckeroo - and we eagerly await her first foal in April 2008.

Santa Fe is nothing if not ambitious - she adores the big boys.
Santa Fe chose me when we went to purchase miniatures from Carina Lewis.
On 21st April Fe safely delivered a beautiful filly foal. She was 18.25" tall and weighed 9.1kg. She is strong and funny, but as a maiden mare Fe frequently forgets to take her baby with her which causes chaos. Her motherhood skills are improving daily and they are both loving being out in the fields in the sunshine.
3 days on we have made a breakthrough. Fe is guarding her baby and even remembered to take her back in for supper tonight. We think that the penny has finally dropped that this little person is her responsibility.

Life is very exciting and those legs need excercise!

Santa Fe has bounced back from her pregnancy and has shed out into the most lovely shiny summer coat. She is the most lovely laid back little Mum and her filly foal - Magic - is just stunning.

Fe has been scanned and is in foal again to my buckskin stallion with her foal due in May. Her foal, Magic, is fully weaned and back with the herd. They remain good friends. Fe looks very pretty in her winter coat and is very well.
