Tallauders Pixel Perfect

Just arrived and barely dry

A few days later and getting very confident

January 2010

Pixel was born in May 2009. A huge surprise to get a "ginger ninja" from a bay leopard spotted dam and a buckskin sire! She was and is still is as cute as a button, and we wait with interest to see what colour she will choose to end up being! She has gone from bright chestnut to liver chestnut and back to a stunning strong gold in her winter woollies.

.

Flat out in a sunbeam, very confident with the others now

A very elegant little filly, and she jolly well knows it!

I strongly suspect that she will spot out eventually, but only time will tell. Meanwhile she remains a very pretty little girl, oozing with attitude along with her flaxen tail. Her face already has a huge amount of white ticking in it and her ankles get blonder as the winter progresses.

She saw the farrier again yesterday and was cheeky and rather disobedient, but Guy got the better of her and she stood glaring at me, grinding her teeth with indignation - I think she takes after her mother in most ways, and that with time she will learn to enjoy her "manicure". As things stand she is too busy to stay still, always into everything and the last to come in for tea as she has found "something" else to get up to. She skates in through the gate just as I am about to give up on her!
