Willow was the very first New Forest Pony that we ever bought. She came to us in the early Spring of 2008. She had a field friend with which she obviously had a very close bond. We couldn't bear to part them, so he came home with us as well - Hawkhill Harrier.
This was to start a pattern and to this day we spend a lot of time teasing each other that the one or other can't count! It did not take us long to realise that Foresters are like Pringles, you don't just have the one!!!!
Willow is a constant source of delight, she is growing into a truly beautiful New Forest Pony and will one day, I am sure make a delightful riding pony. With her gentle nature, sassiness, elegance and very striking colouring I am sure that she will continue to do well in the show ring, be it in hand or under saddle.
Do please enjoy her life so far - in photographs. We love her and she has rapidly become the other woman in my husband' life - and she know it!!!!!
Here you can see her life story with us in pictures - in reverse, the top being the most current photographs.
